It's true. Spencer really is 12! And he only has three more inches to grow before he's taller than me. Sigh. He wanted a "late night" for his birthday party this year, with sausage pizza from Little Ceasar's and a movie. Easy Peasy. He has some great friends that really make me laugh. At one point, there was a group a friends in the back yard playing with Roxy, a group of friend dancing in the street waiting for another friend to arrive and a group of friends playing Rock Band in the house. All were noisy. Good noisy. They watched Alien's in the Attic and laughed and laughed and rewound the funny parts and laughed again. Success.
Spencer received the game Munchkin from Granna and a bonus Munchkin Fu.

Spencer's birthday party was three days after his real birthday, so he just wanted a pumpkin pie for his birthday dessert.
But for his birthday cake, he wanted Han Solo frozen in carbonite.
Spencer's friends serenaded him with "It's you birthday I've been told!" Military style.
