Every fall I either sing "Sunrise, Sunset" when the kids go off to school, or "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." It is amazing to me to look at their pictures every year.
Spencer started his Junior year in fall 2017. He signed up to be a Viking Master, (Viking is the school mascot) which means he helped incoming Sophomores orient themselves to high school life and the location of classrooms, among other introductory events.
He was also pleased to show off his sideburns.
DJ began his first year of high school, a mighty Sophomore. He was excited to finally be rid of the Jr. High and advance to the wackiness of the high school environment.
James was excited to be rid of Elementary school. That's right. No more elementary school for the Astling family! To celebrate, I stopped clipping Box Tops! With his Bob Ross socks, wrestling shirt and drum kit, he was ready to plunge into the world of very noisy teenagers.
