What's going on with Spencer? He's always thinking, that's what. Of course when it comes to finding things, he forgets to look with his hands. But he does think about it for a second.
Spencer is also always, always creating.
He received his green belt in Tae Kwon Do in February, then took a few months off from earning his share of the TKD tuition until July when he earned his blue belt.
When the solar eclipse occurred this spring, Spencer was prepared. Although a pinhole viewer was not in the original plans for his emergency helmet, he improvised and made one at the back of his helmet. While looking away from the sun he could see the eclipse through the pinhole inside his nifty helmet. The original emergency helmet included snacks on the inside, a catapult on the side for defensive strikes, a flashlight and a hand held video Tetris game. What more do you need?
In order to get his blue belt, Spencer had to break a board with his foot. Not only did he break it on the first try, but he broke it in a second place, since the first break was closer to the side of the board.
